Micropigmentation

The technique that adapts
to your skin.

What is it

01

Softness of stroke,
total precision.

Micropigmentation is a brow technique that, like microblading, improves shape, fills gaps and defines the brow. The key difference lies in how the skin is worked and the type of result that can be achieved in each case.

Hair-by-hair micropigmentation is particularly suited to more sensitive, fine or naturally sparse brows. It creates a softer, more diffused effect with a more organic finish — ideal when greater delicacy and skin adaptation are needed.

"My work is not to apply a specific technique, but to choose the best option for you — adapting it entirely to your skin and your face."

Beyond the name of the technique, what truly matters is the result. There's no need to come in with a fixed idea of what you want. Every skin and every brow requires a different approach, and it's during the consultation that we decide which technique — or combination — will deliver the most natural, balanced and lasting result.

The effect looks as though fine new hairs have appeared, adding density and shape without over-defining. People around you won't know what changed — they'll just feel that something looks better.

The process

02

Less to
more.
Always.

The principle behind every session: never start with more than necessary. Build the result step by step, letting the skin and the person set the pace. That's how brows that last well and feel truly yours are created from day one.

01

First session

Analysis, design and first treatment

We begin by listening. The skin, natural hair growth and facial proportions are analysed. The brow shape is designed directly on your face — hair by hair — so you can see it and adjust it before anything begins.

The treatment is progressive and subtle. The goal is to improve just enough for you to notice the change, without excess. The first session lays the foundation; the second refines it.

Second Session · Touch-up

Refine, adjust, combine.

Once the skin has healed, we assess how it has responded and what the result needs. This is the moment to fine-tune: adding intensity where needed, softening where necessary, or even combining techniques for a more precise outcome.

The second session is where the result becomes definitive. And where the Técnica Consciente shows its true value: the ability to adapt.

"I never create brows that are too defined, dark or dense from the start. I prefer to build the result step by step, leaving room to adapt and personalise based on how the skin has responded and how you feel about the change."

Duration and aftercare

03

A result that fades
with elegance.

Micropigmentation typically lasts between 1 and 3 years, depending on skin type, lifestyle and aftercare. The pigment doesn't disappear suddenly — it fades gradually, maintaining the brow shape with an increasingly soft appearance over time.

With today's techniques, recovery after treatment is very manageable. It's normal for the colour to appear slightly more intense right after the session — it will soften over the following days until the final result is reached. Some light flaking may appear, though in most cases it is practically imperceptible.

Aftercare for the first few days

Wash gently morning and night with water and a mild cleanser. Dry thoroughly without leaving moisture on the area.

Apply the recommended balm for your skin type, usually 1–2 times a day.

Do not touch or scratch the area during healing.

Do not apply brow makeup until the healing process is complete.

Avoid exfoliants or acid-based products on the treated area.

Do not submerge your brows in a pool or the sea for the first 7–10 days.

04

Is micropigmentation right for you?

Micropigmentation is not better or worse than microblading — it's different. And for certain skin profiles, it's the option that delivers the most natural and lasting results.

micropigmentation suits you if

Your skin calls for a more delicate approach

These are the profiles where micropigmentation delivers its best results — and where microblading may not perform as well:

Consider microblading if

Your skin allows for greater definition

In these cases, microblading can give you an equally natural result with greater hair-by-hair precision:

Fine, sensitive or delicate skin with low dermal thickness

Mature skin requiring maximum gentleness in application

Oily skin where microblading strokes tend to blur

Rosacea or other conditions affecting healing

Frontal alopecia or brows with very little natural hair

Normal, dry or combination skin with good dermal thickness

Skin without specific conditions affecting healing

You want very fine, defined strokes that closely mimic natural hair

Your lifestyle involves little sun exposure and infrequent use of acids

You want a fluffy, diffused effect that integrates deeply with the skin

In many cases the best solution is a combination of both techniques. The consultation determines this.

Real transformation

05

a case that changed everything

The moment of being ready.

Skin with rosacea, flaking and frontal alopecia. A complex case that defined what it means to have knowledge, technique and sensitivity all at once.

"When I look back over more than 10 years of experience, there is one case that marked a before and after in the way I work."

It was a client with very delicate skin: rosacea, flaking in the brow area and frontal alopecia. She came to the first consultation with a great deal of uncertainty — and that was the moment to apply everything learned.

In earlier years, with only one technique available, there were many limitations. It wasn't always possible to offer a truly personalised result. This case was different: the skin was carefully analysed, the approach was adapted, and hair-by-hair micropigmentation was chosen — performed with maximum gentleness and control. Exactly what that skin needed.

The result was unexpectedly good: the pigment settled correctly from the very first session, which is uncommon with this type of skin. A few weeks later, at the review, the brows were completely integrated. Natural. As if they had always been there.

"Beyond the aesthetic result, what made this case so significant was the feeling of being ready. Of having the knowledge, the technique and the sensitivity to approach complex cases with confidence. It was, without doubt, a turning point in my career."

Registered trademark

06

A way of thinking about brows worth protecting.

The decision to register the trademark came from something deeper than the technique itself: the need to create awareness. For years, brows were being worked from a copy-and-paste approach, without considering the skin, the face or how the result would evolve over time. The Técnica Consciente is the answer to that — and it has been registered since 2017.

FAQ

07

The questions we hear most.

Straightforward answers to the doubts that come up before taking the step. No detours, no empty promises.

How long does micropigmentation last?

Results typically last between 1 and 3 years, depending on skin type, lifestyle and aftercare. Oilier skin or skin with faster cell turnover tends to lose pigment sooner.

Over time, the result doesn't disappear suddenly — it fades gradually, maintaining the brow shape with an increasingly soft appearance until you decide to refresh it.

How many sessions do i need for micropigmentation?

The full process consists of two sessions. The first lasts approximately 2 hours and includes analysis, design and the first treatment. The second, around 6–7 weeks later and approximately 1 hour, refines the result once the skin has healed.

In some cases a third session may be needed to adjust specific details. In the second session it is also possible to combine techniques for a result more adapted to how your skin has responded.

How much does micropigmentation cost?

The price varies depending on the technique, the prior condition of the brows and the number of sessions required. Every case is different, which is why the in-person consultation is the best way to determine exactly what treatment is needed and what the actual cost will be.

If you have questions about pricing before booking, you're welcome to get in touch directly via WhatsApp or email and we'll guide you without any commitment.

What is the difference between microblading and micropigmentation?

Microblading creates very fine, defined strokes with a manual blade, closely mimicking natural brow hair with high precision. It works best on normal or dry skin with good dermal thickness.

Hair-by-hair micropigmentation uses a precision machine and delivers a softer, more diffused finish — ideal for fine, sensitive, mature or specific skin conditions such as rosacea.

In many cases the best solution is a combination of both techniques. The in-person consultation determines what is most suitable for your specific skin.

What are the first few days like after micropigmentation?

With today's techniques, recovery is very manageable. It's normal for the colour to appear slightly more intense in the first few days — it will soften until the final result is reached.

Some light flaking may appear, though in most cases it is practically imperceptible. With proper care — gentle cleansing, thorough drying and applying the recommended balm — the process goes completely smoothly.

Is micropigmentation suitable for mature skin?

Yes — micropigmentation is especially recommended for mature skin, precisely because it allows for greater delicacy and softness in application. The diffused, organic effect it creates integrates very naturally with skin that has lost some density or elasticity.

In these cases microblading is usually ruled out, as mature skin tends to blur strokes sooner and may not maintain the definition of the result.

A message from darina

"If you've made it this far and still have doubts, that's completely normal. Some decisions take time. And they should."

Changing the way you look, touching something as visible as your brows, takes time, trust and — above all — feeling that the moment is right for you. Perhaps right now you just need to come in, see the space and ask your questions calmly. Or perhaps you need a little more time. Both are perfectly valid.

There's no rush. Your brows will still be there. What matters is that when you decide, you feel secure, calm and true to yourself. And if that moment is now, I'll be delighted to be part of it.
